Weathered faces, lined in pain

Faces such as these are lined in pain

Exposed to the harshest winters, and the darkest nights

Like many of us, they will never again be rosy cheeked or in the bloom of youth

And yet, the tragedy of lost innocence is the birth of experience

So while lines like these may speak of hardship . . . They also speak of wisdom too

Showing that we have seen, and felt,

Loved, and lost,

Laughed, and cried,

And lived.
